Discovery children's center Logo
I made a new logo for Discovery children's center. The Center provides an environment that encourages children to use their senses of touch, sight, hearing, and smell to gain a better understanding of the world around them. Their goals are to help children develop positive self-concept and an understanding of others in Hawaii’s multicultural community, and to offer them a “window to the world” beyond our island shores.
Ideation
Sketching
I sketched a simple yet vibrant design, contrasting with the complexity of the existing logo. I maintained its colorful and bright essence while keeping it minimalistic. I utilized the rainbow, a key element from the original logo, extensively in the sketch.
Finalizing
Final Result
I created a logo with a bright atmosphere by blending a playground, which is often associated with children, and a rainbow-themed slide. I experimented with various color combinations and selected one that is bright yet simple to complete the logo.
